This 5 Bedroom, 5 Bathroom villa sleeps 10 and is 100 metres from Burriana beach which is the main beach in Nerja.

The Alamar II group of villas is situated at  the main Burriana Beach in Nerja, and No. 4 is a spacious Spanish style villa, overlooking the beach. 

The very pleasant and shady garden and pool area which is immediately in front of the house is shared with 10 other villas.

Accommodation 

The house is fully furnished and well equipped with all bed linen, blankets, house towels, tea towels, cooking facilities, crockery, etc. and BBQ, ceiling fans and electric heaters.  There is Sky TV and DVD player, CD/tape player, a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and a baby’s cot and high chair.

It is ideal for two families or a group of friends as a base for either a beach holiday or for exploring and walking in the surrounding beautiful countryside and mountains.  The micro climate of Nerja also makes it a delightful place to visit out of season.

Nerja is an old, pretty little town on the Costa del Sol at the foothills of the Sierra Almijara.  The centre of the town, the Balcon de Europa, is about a 10 minute walk from the villa through the old narrow streets. 

Malaga airport is a 45 minute drive and our local agent can arrange transport for you from the airport on request. 

Burriana Beach, the main beach in Nerja, is a sandy beach with safe swimming and rocks at either end which are good areas for snorkling.  There are a variety of watersports,  windsurfing,  padillos, etc. and a PADI diving centre.  The colourful local fishing boats add a lot of interest, and there are a number of restaurants and bars along its promenade.

Granada and skiing in the Sierra Nevada are 1hr. 45 min. driving.

Ground Flr
The ground floor has rose/beige marble floors throughout with marble staircase to the upper and lower floors.  Cloakroom with WC and washbasin.  Kitchen fully fitted and well equipped with built-in units, electric oven, gas/electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle, juicer, toaster etc.  Lounge/dining room, dining table and chairs at one end, living area at the other with doors onto terrace, open fireplace, 3 sofas and a couple of cane chairs, coffee table, 4 windows overlooking the beach, garden and pool, doors onto the Terrace

Terrace
The terrace with a view to the beach has seating for 10, a large table, a built-in barbecue, sun shades and additional reclining chairs and lighting for evening dining.  

First Floor
Large main bedroom with double bed, fitted cupboards, table & chairs with 3 windows and balconies overlooking the beach, garden and pool, with large en-suite bathroom with large shower, washbasin & WC..  Second double bedded room with fitted cupboards and balcony overlooking garden and pool with private bathroom with bath/shower, washbasin & WC

Lower Floor
3 bedrooms each with twin beds and fitted cupboards. One is a large room with en-suite bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin and views to the beach. The other 2 are a good size but have high windows, which keep them cool but with no views. Each has a private  bathroom, one with full size bath/shower, washbasin & WC (and washing machine) and the other has a large shower, washbasin & WC.    

Garden & Pool
The attractive garden, with palm and other trees for shade, and pool are shared with the 10 other villas of Alamar II.  The oval pool is approx. 10m x 7m and 140-240cm in depth.  (It is sometimes empty between Nov. and Easter.)

The Area

Nerja is built on a cliff at the foothills of the Sierra Almijara mountains and has a shoreline dotted with rocky coves and sandy beaches.  The narrow cobbled streets and old whitewashed houses lead to the Balcon de Europa with wonderful views of the coast.  The Caves of Nerja boast the largest single cavern in Europe and paintings dating back 20,000 years.  Concerts are held in the caves during the Festival de la Cueva de Nerja in July.

Nerja has a number of language schools.
Golf – there are 2 courses within 20 minutes drive.

The Sierra Almijara mountains and National Park behind Nerja provide an area of outstanding natural beauty with endless walking and opportunities for riding, cycling, quad biking and jeep tours.

Frigiliana only 6 km from Nerja and 330m above sea level this charming Moorish hill village is steeped in history and very picturesque.

Malaga (approx. 45 mins) home of tapas and Picasso’s birthplace.  Impressive 16th C. Cathedral, Moorish fortress and Picasso Museum.

Granada (approx. 1hr 30mins) The beautiful Alhambra and Generalife Gardens are well worth a visit.

Sol y nieve (approx. 1hr 45mins) Europe’s most southerly ski resort.  You can swim on the beach in the morning and ski in the afternoon.

Seville, Cordoba, Gibraltar (each approx. 3 hrs).

Rental Notes:


Bookings run from 3pm on Saturday to 10am on Saturday and the rent is fully inclusive of all electricity, water, etc., house linen, house towels and laundry, cleaning before your arrival and after departure.

Rent for the villa is as follows:

Jan*, Feb, March, Nov. & December* £500 per week

*Christmas, New Year and Easter £800 per week

April, May and October £800 per week

June and September £1000 per week

July and August £1500 per week

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to confirm a booking, the final payment being due one calendar month before the rental period. Any booking made within a month of the rental period must be confirmed with the full amount payable.
