Villa on a large plot with terraced, Mediterranean garden, pool and sun terrace with shaded gazebo. Wild life haven for the enthusiast, with migratory birds passing overhead, anabundance of rare and interesting butterflies, insects and small reptiles. Pine woods over the road offers much that a casual observer would miss. Separate outdoor dining area in shade of palm and rubber tree. Also small BBQ. Spacious living area, pleasantly furnished with sofas and large 8 seater dining table in dining room. All windows have views of garden. English family own house opposite.

Accommodation  

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 large converted room with 1 king size bed, 1 single bed, overhead fan, wardrobe, dressing table and en suite shower room.
Bedroom 2 with double bed, large wardrobe and overhead fan.
Bedroom 3 with double sofa bed, wardrobe and overhead fan.
Bathrooms: On upper level newly tiled bathroom with bath and over head shower, basin and WC.
On lower level shower room with shower, basin and WC.
Kitchen: American kitchen with electric fan oven/grill, gas hob with extractor fan, microwave, electric kettle, fridge freezer, cupboard with brooms etc, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, ironing board and iron.
Utility Room: Out door covered area with new washing machine and drying facilities.
Living Rooms: Large lounge with two sofas, feature gas fire, glass fronted cabinet, cupboards and drawers.
Other: Leading off lounge, through glass door, naya that serves as dining room. Single door here leads to small balcony and sliding door to outside steps to lower area.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: Towels and linen are provided and changed weekly. Villa is cleaned before each let. Bring beach towels.


Notes on accommodation
Under supervision toddlers can manage steps. There are overhead fans in each room and for winter months efficient central heating throughout.

Outside
Mediterranean, terraced gardens with fruit trees. 8x4m swimming pool and sun terrace with outdoor shower and newly constructed gazebo for shade. Sun beds, sunshades and some pool toys are provided. There is outdoor furniture and a terraced eating area with BBQ.

Coast/Beach
There are beaches and coves all along the coast road.
La Fustera beach with adjacent English bar/restaurant is 20 minutes walk away. Calpe, 15 minutes drive away, has two large beaches with accompanying beach restaurants and shops. These are also to be found in great variety in Calpe old and new town, as are bars and night clubs. Moraira which offers the same facilities is a little more sedate and is 20 minutes drive away. All these beaches are safe and sandy.

Golf
There are various, easily accessible golf courses in the area.

Travel
Alicante is 1 hours drive away. Car hire is recommended but there are local buses and taxi services.

Distances
5 mins drive away (25 mins walking) is a Sailing Pro Center (details at vills) 30 minutes drive by car is the thriving resort of Benidorm. Here is the newly opened theme park of Terra Mitica and also the water fun park of Aqualandia and the sea world park of Mundomar. In the Calpe region are oppotunities for scuba-diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, parasurfing and jet skiing.

Further details
La Fustera (15 minutes walk) offers a supermarket and tapas bar and a few minutes drive up the road are banks and cashpoint machines. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby.
Calpe has ethnic shops in the old town, interesting back streets and a variety of local restaurants, museum and a church. The fishing port is a hive of activity when the boats come in each afternoon, with off loading and a fish auction. Fish restaurants abound in this area.
Moraira has a marina, shops, museum and play areas in the town.
The region of La Marina Alta has a beautiful mountainous interior with small villages and monestries. Accessable by car and well worth a visit is the wine region of the Jalon Valley. Oranges, lemons, olives, almonds and vines are grown throughout the region.

£150 per week deposit is payable on booking and the balance payable 8 weeks before the holiday.
